Replacement Grill vs. Overlay

I am looking at making some changes to the Mustang. I have a 2008 GT.

I am going to be changing the suspension in a bit. Springs, Adjustable Strut mounts, Tokico Shocks, Sway Bars and Adj. Panhard.

Before that.... I want to make a few cosmetic changes. The point of this post....

I'd like to go with a replacement grill for the GT. I don't want an overlay. The requirements:

- Must be steel or aluminum. Does not make sense to go from plastic to plastic.
- Must use the stock fog lamps
- Preferably painted or powder coated black
- Can move the fog lamps to the center mount
- Want to have a matching lower grill

I know you all have far more knowledge of where to go so...... I ask for the help..... Does this exist.

i've never seen one that replaces your grill while still using your stock fog's. shelby has a nice piece that replaces the fogs also, but i haven't looked at it in a while to know what it's made of. Shelby Performance Parts LLC

My grille uses the stock fogs but it is plastic so that option is out. He probably need to check out a Street Scene grille like Heavy's...it should retain the stock fogs as well.

If it were me (& it's not) I would go with plastic.

(1) Plastic is lighter weight.
(2) plastic doesn't get bent out of shape.
(3) plastic won't rust.
(4) plastic ones are cheaper in price.

Just my 2 cents.

I think Zippy's is a replacement grille that keeps the lights.
