Driveshaft question

Whats the advantage you get from taking off the factory 2 pice driveshaft and putting the aftermarket one piece on?

less rotational weight. I have an Axle Exchange on mine and I picked up 3 tenths.

The 1 piece drive shafts weigh half the weight of the stock 2 piece.

Less rotational mass means it can gain rpm faster. Its a great mod. Hell if you can afford it look into q carbonfiber one.

Steeda driveshafts weigh 24lbs less than the factory GT model driveshaft. This will greatly reduce rotating mass. We have seen 2 tenths improvement in 1/4 mile performance with these shafts.
Our driveshafts are also tapered 3.5" to 4 inch design giving them extra clearance needed to avoid interference that can happen on lowered cars with full 4" shafts. Let me know if I can heelp you with one of these..

Hell if I would be dropping 1100 for a CF DS. My $625 aluminum shaftmasters works great.

This is what I am worried about. I read the ad below, which states it is made to go 50,000 without making a mess under the car. Not very encouraging. I was kind of expecting more like 250k at least so I never have to worry about it again.
