If I had the money, I would get the MGW.

I have the Barton and the Shifter Bracket from Barton. I can't complain at all. I've made 9 passes at the track and have only missed 1 gear (4th gear) once. MGW has a solid reputation though.

I have the Hurst with the Barton bracket and its pretty sweet. Takes some getting used to, but between those two choices, Id go with the MGW. I have heard nothing but amazing things about it

I'm leaning towards the MGW too but the only thing holding me back is the shift arm. Are you able to change them on the MGW? Also, if not does anyone know where to get something that doesn't look as cheesy as black plastic to go between the ball and the bottom of the shifter? Maybe something with a brushed aluminum finish? I just think the black plastic piece that comes with the shift knobs kind of looks lame.

I paid a little over 450 for mine. I ordered the extra handle thought so i can go from stock theads which i have a sweet T-shifter for or i can use there pitch of thead that fits there shift knob and im guessing many other shift knobs.

Not to sure about the trim parts but i also ordered the Deluxe Jam Nut and Washer. So maybe that will hide it a little better, BUT DO BE HONEST!!! i dont care how it looks i care about how it works.

Yeah, I'm DEFINETLY ordering a MGW shifter in a couple days. This zip tied plastic sorry excuse for a factory shifter lets me hit third maybe 80% of the time. I'm my Mach 1 that had 126,xxx miles on the original TR3650, I never missed third. It's embarrassing as fuck.

By the way, how hard is it to instal one of these compared to a UPR Blu Thunder shifter?

I hear you on that one man. 3rd pissed me off sometimes. Im still used to my old 03 clutch though.

Install looks pretty easy if you have access to a lift. Luckily i do and thats how i will be installing it. I will post some pics of the install when the damn thing gets here but who knows when that will be
