The 2010 Mustang GT is 3,534. The 2011 features a slightly heavier trans, but a lighter block so i would assume it clocks in a little under or right at the 2010.

Just to let yall know the new 5.0's have a similar set up to a V-tech motor. The cams are pretty much the same besides the fact they are named different. They work the same and they are the main reason the new 5.0 made 412HP.

It’s in terms of variable valve timing which means in the VTEC world there are low cam lobes through normal rpm ranges for optimal fuel economy and then at performance rpm ranges it switches to high cam lobe while adjusting fuel and tappet heights.

I am not positive the 5.0 has low and high cam lobes but I would highly suspect it does.

Is the new one still going to be the s197?

The 2014 Mustang will be the 50th Year Anniversary of the Ford Mustang.

Expect some true awesomeness.

Seriously.

Which i personally prefer esp with the new handling numbers its putting up. Maybe that will shut some of the live axle haters up for a bit.

The live axle doesnt really affect handling as much as it does ride quality. That being said Ive never had any issues with my suspension on my 03 minus the lack of a brace to locate the axle side to side.
