E3 Plugs and Chino Hills Ford = BAD

Hey guys. I have a couple of things to rant about and thought you might like to hear. I have to vent about a certain product and a business's customer service.

On Monday I took my car into Chino Hills Ford because my car had a serious misfire. I had checked everything I could think of before I took it in. I pulled the E3 plugs, which were installed in June and looked like new, checked the plug wires, changed the fuel filter again and checked all connections. Anyways, I got a call back from the dealership and they told me they "think" it is my E3 plugs. They want to put in new Motorcraft plugs, clean the throttlebody and injectors. I told them I needed to call them back. I called them back and all I could get was voicemail. I tried 5 times. The last time I just left a message to fix it. I called back 5 minutes later to tell them to keep my plugs because I could return them for a refund. The next morning I called again to remind them I wanted my plugs. I was told it was no problem. I picked up the car that evening and 2 of the 6 plugs had disappeared. They claimed the mechanic had thrown them all out and 2 couldn't be found. They said they would look and call me in the morning. I never got a call back. No real apology or anything. Well, I found the 2 missing plugs. They were sitting under the driver side wiper. If I had hit a bump they could have caused real damage to the windshield. Car does run good. I got a printout of the the missfire. Number 2 and 3 plugs were bad.

So, If you need to take your car to a dealer STAY AWAY from Chino Hills Ford. Their customer service sucks!

If you need plugs, DO NOT buy E3 plugs. Two of the plugs went bad with less than 1000 miles on them.

I've always said to stick with OE stuff unless major mods have been done. They're made for that engine.

BTW Chino Hills Ford is a little far of a drive for me.lol
