If you are planning on getting the gears and the tloc it would just be better to get the 8.8 rearend with the 4.10s and tloc already installed. its around 850 but the price for everything will add up cheaper if you just go ahead and get a different rearend.

I have the 4.10s and mine is a auto. LOVE IT! but can't get bama to work with me!

i bought an 8.8 with 3.73 gears and t-lock. it installed with ease and it was the basis of securing any type of a hole shot. it made a big difference. mine was also a newtakeoffpart.

i have 4.10's in a manual and i personally love it. 1st is kinda short, but push come to shove i dont even have to use it if i dont really want to. its just basically to get my tires rolling and moving me forward, then its game over from there. i wouldnt step down to 3.73's even if i put a blower on, but that is just my .2 cents.
