What mods to do first on 4.0 thread!1. CAI and Tuner combo $350-$600(Worth about 15-20rwhp and better throttle response for automatic tranny) 2. Exhaust, you can go single and get about the same performance as duals, but you will not get the sound you are looking for. A single axelback runs $80-$300. depending on how much you want to spend. Single is generally worth 4-10 rwhp. Dual 5-12rwhp. 3. You will gain no hp from this but you will increase acceleration. Gears and LSD or T-lok as some call it. Pretty simple here. 5spd or plans on supercharging/turbo get 3.73, If you plan on keeping it n/a and you are automatic 4.10 are right for you.

Good post! Throw some stickier tires on there and you got a decently fast 6!
I'd also do a shift kit for an auto or a short throw for a 5 speed |

One correction. If you are going FI I wouldn't recommend higher than 3.55 gears. Also, if you are going FI your going to want to upgrade the rear end to 8.8 or 31 spline.

Also underdrive pulleys help a lot by freeing some h.p out of the motor
the tuner is a plus since you need it for almost every mod out there... well for all mods u will need it
