Ignition on an 06

I have an 06 v6 with 60 k miles on it. Lately I've been noticing a grinding noise coming from the engine when I turn it over. Now, it takes a minute for it to actually turn over and the grinding is getting worse. I'm thinkin' distributor, but according to the local parts store, my mustang doesn't even have one. So yeah, what else could it be? Any suggestions would be awesome.

My bet would be on the flywheel or the starter. One of those two is the most likely if its just when starting the car and it takes a while to start.

take it to the dealership, have them look at it but don't touch it... ask if its still under warranty... after that just be like "well, shoot i don't have that kinda money right now, i need to talk to the wifey, but i will be in touch with you soon" then just leave and find somewhere cheaper to fix it

oh and get a printed appraisal
