There is a disk of some kind, a washer or a drawer-pull or something, available at Home Depot, which when inserted before mounting the wheel, fills the back of the spinner so the prongs that spring-hold it in place can't collapse to the center, and a simple grab-and-lever won't be as likely to get it off the wheel.
I don't think they look particularly good on a "busy" wheel design, like the ones they put on the premium V6s. Not too bad on a large, black wheel, though.

ya they are hard to see in the pics you put, but i saw chrome ones (prob just shiny plastic) and they looked better
