heres what you should so v606er:
figure out your fiture plans for the car. start to build up to your future plans. gears t-lok and tuner are some of the best starters you can get. if you are going for just bolt ons, then a full exhaust, cai, and udp are good.. the udp is a good mod regardless of what some ppl say. also coil packs and wires help get better spark so you will be a better responce from your engine. look into how much it would be to port your intake and heads also. that would be a very good mod whether you stay n/a or go forced induction |

I think you should go with the 8.8 rear with the 3.73 gears if its your daily driver. If you end up getting into bigger mods (forced induction), you'll be safe when it comes to your rear end. When I started out I got an exhaust and lowering springs. I went with the Eibach Pro Kit, the car definitly has a lower stance and it looks much better, but you still need to watch you don't bottom out. If you decide on the exhaust, check the exhaust thread to find out what sound you're looking for and you could narrow down the price.
