"5w20 Oil", they said it has more viscocity which the car depends on...using synthetic i heard (dont know for sure) slows down ur performance because its a thicker oil or rather clingy but dont quote me on anything this is what i was told by the Dealer Technician (Mechanic)

thats exactly how it is...do you know what the the numbers mean? the first one represents how cold it can be and it will still work and the last number is how hot it can get. So here in cali 5w-30 is needed

Ok Motorcraft 5w20 is fully synthetic oil.Its also cheaper than Mobil1. Like 10 bucks. I like mobil one but this is made for the car by ford so I use it. As long as you change ur oil when recomended any full syn will do just fine.By the way Mobil1 has droped there standards and is using cheap stuff in there mix. Now oil is formulated to get thinner when its cold and thicker when it get hot. Think about it it makes sence. V6 stangs take like 5 or 5 1/2 and the Gt takes six. Hope this helps. and to touch on the clingy comment posted up top. Take a full syn and a conventional oil. Pour them out and you will see that syn is thinner.
