stock 07 v6 What now?


I just wanna get some ideas on how to start off inhancing the performance of my car. I'm going to get cold air intake soon and possibly exahust, but what kind do i get, and what is the best road for me to take in performance when looking to spend about 2k?

ehxuast, gears, cai, tuner, shifter if its a 5 speed, and udps

One more thing, It was a gift, so i didint have much of an option on things, and it is automatic. Any advice for improving automatics?

tuner + cai = 450s

gears are gonna run you like 150-200for parts and then you prob want a posi as well and im not sure how much that costs since i already have one stock

labor your looking at atleast 300-500 but maybe even more sicne they'll have to install the posi too

then exhuast depends on brande and if you buy it used or new and if you do midpipe and headers or just a catback so anywhere from a couple hundred bucks to a grand

the tuner is $379 and the intakes are around $200
you can get with our forum vendors and get a discount. Trick Tuners sells the combo

or you can do a K&N air filter with silencer delete

the extra 2 hp out of the cold air intake mite not be worth it unless you plan on making some serious power down the road

Thanks a lot guys. I'm gonna start off spending 300-400 at a time. Know the best place to buy everything? And any idea on how much hp/torque i will gain. Sorry im pretty new to this, i had a ford focus to start with so this stuffwas pretty much out of the question until now.

well gears you wont gain any hp but it will be the biggest bang for your buck as far as speed

wat you care more about for now...being faster or sounding louder/better?

I'm looking more for power, i dont want it to sound like a stupid ricer or to be obnoxious. I really like the sound of it now, and would like to improve the sound more than make it sound a lot different.
