Piece o cake. Follow the directions and make sure your solder splices are good. And run the wires through some plastic shielding if you're running it under the car. Watch the exhaust manifold clearance. That's about it... Took me about an hour to do the whole thing, even cut a nice hole in my trunk plastic so it sticks out a little bit and looks like a factory amp installed along the back wall of the trunk, plus it makes sure that it gets some cool air.

it is recommended so that the bap gets a nice feed of power. I have one of thier kits sitting in the garage (just for the upgraded wiring to the fpdm). I passed up the bandaid bap route and went full lethal/fore fuel system with stage 2 modified fpdm and gt pumps.

Get the wiring upgrade before you install it. Installation only took like 30 mins to an hour. If you get the wiring upgrade from lethal they send you a set of instructions. Here's the instructions that lethal send you. It from their website and here's the link. Lethal Performance, Performance Parts for Ford Mustangs, Cobras, Chevy Corvette C6, LS1
I installed mine just like their instructions. Followed them to a t and had no problems so far. Last edited by 1StockGT; December 22nd, 2008 at 09:58 AM. |
