thank you! and honestly, i shocked myself. after the past 3 years of driving my cobra, which is normally hold the gas at 6k rpm, and the poppin the clutch and holding on for dear life, it was a big change to have to finess it off the line. couldn't just hammer it. i was quite surprised with myself! i also ran a vw gti and beat it! i was pleased. i know lightnings can go faster, but at 5k lbs with my fatass in there and big ol 20's with rock solid tires, i am rather pleased with the numbers. and i think i was rather consistant for the first time. though, i know, after the launch there is really nothing to do. and trust me, i was getting kinda bored after i got going. lol...

sorry to hear about that kidney stone removal makes me crenge just thinkin about it but my weekend wasnt much better.

i now only have 12k to do all the mods to my car instead of 20k. wife wreaked the truck and my pit was hit by a car didnt die but is costing 2k in vet bills. so really need some help on it guys. plans were bore 20 over forged pistons rods crank new mains and rod bearing. stage 2 p/p heads with performance springs and stage 2 cams, tremec t56 magnum tranny 4.10 gears and either sc or tt it with 72#fi but now i dont have the money to do all that work and im still wanting to push as much hp as possible and ive done ordered the tranny which is costing 3300 out of the 12 so any advise post it on my what to do thread. oh and my mech said there is low comp in the 8th cylinder so any ideas what could be causing it cause he hasnt tore into it yet to figure it out

Once you get some more power out of the lightning or build the auto up, it will be a lot more fun. A tune on an auto even makes it more fun.

yeah, i am thinking about a valve body, lower pulley and a tune. get it solidly in the 13's on the 20's. thats my goal! not gonna strip it down or make it a race truck or anything.

yeah it sucks my truck was a beauty and now i got to put up 6k to fix it money that could have been put in my mustang. now the money for my pit i got no problem spendin that much money on him hes my boy and id spend alot more than that on him to make sure hes ok. but in some good news i found out they aint sendin me to alaska for 2yrs just 1 in korea then they sendin me to GA.

CO is one of those colors you have to see in person to appreciate. I prefer dark colors on cars, orange, yellow, bright red are usually not my thing. CO is sex though. Looks good with black or polished wheels.

he had black wheels with polished lips, believe they were ccw's and was running low 11's...... and I am wanting a vert in my stable, may have to get one...

Yes it is. But even more rare is the 01 MG vert with parchment interior. Ugly combo, but rare none the less.

Their is a guy here that has a CO vert. Completly stock. I want to buy it very very bad. I wish he was stupid, I would talk him in to a trade and cash on mine. lol

but mp, your right. i know they did the parchment in 03 as well, and most those cars are amongst the rarest out there. that parchment is god aweful ugly though. looks like dirty grey inserts imo...
