As far as that goes I spoke to Van, who owns Revan racing, builds rads and heat exchangers for my car. He is an extremely smart guy. He uses nascar cores in his rads and well just from swapping the rad he was able to drop his cylinder temps over 60 degrees! Not to mention with the heat exchanger on top of it! He was able to run over 70 degrees cooler at Daytona for a constant 30 minutes where his car would heat soak every 10 minutes before. Giving me a great deal on a rad and heat exchanger. He is steering me to Kenne Bell's new chargers either their 3.6 or their 4.5 thats being released.... liquid cooled

Yeah but talking from someone who has experience with both Kenne bell and Whipple on his same car, he notices that the KB had lower intake temps, and well, when he pulled the whipple off, you could see where the rotors were scuffing eachother, no such thing with the KB..... so we shall see what develops

oh and that pull was on just 19 degrees of timing and A/F was 11.6 they think they can take it to 23 degrees of timing and 12.6 A/F! They also are releasing and upgrade for your 2.8 to a liquid cooled setup as well if you want to look into that, should be in the next 30-45 days we will start seeing more stuff.

The only thing I worry about is how they are getting their numbers, sure they are making that horse, but at 7500rpm, on 116 octane, with a tune that will run the life of a built motor to next to nothing.... where with the Whipple I can integrate a Methane injection setup, and keep my IAT's down and run less timing to make the same horsepower.... I am much more a fan of Whipple over KB but we will see.... if they decide to let loose with info on the KB and tell me my goals are manageable then I may spring for a KB....

Either way that car is going to scream man. I can understand your point about the wearing down the motor. That kind of airflow will wear down anything.
