Yeah, I'm not in debt; it's just a pain to have bills.

I'm not even 19 and have 2 cars....I payed cash for them so i no haz debt

EDIT: Sidenote....Would there be anything wrong with buying used rear springs that have only about 30k miles on them (my car has 32k miles so they are pretty close in usage)? They are stock springs btw

I got an alarm system today...not so sure about it. Installer seemed to know what he was doing, but i don't think he did the remote start right(I know pointless and stupid to have), and the sensitivity isn't very high on the alarm. I am going back tmrw with my questions...kinda wish i could just return it and go somewhere else now

What system did you get? And I always thought shops wouldn't install remote starts on a manual car for liability reasons.

Sounds like you and wraitherlx need to have a talk

The H&R's or the SS's?

I can get the front H&R SS springs for $100. And i was going to get a set of stock springs that were cut for the rear for $50.

Correct... alot of shops would rather just not deal with it at all.

What brand and model? Who installed it? why do you say that he did not do the remote start right? If you can tell me what alarm you have I can tell you how to set the sensitivity higher. It also depends on if the shock sensor is internal (built into the brain) or external. If its internal and they mounted it onto metal then I can pretty much guarantee you that it wont have that much sensitivity unless somebody crashes into your car reason being is that the shock sensors should be tied onto a bundle of wires because if any vibration occurs in the vehicle it will travel through the bundle of wires and set off the shock sensor, where as if its on metal its not going to feel anything except in that particular area if anything. If you read your installation manual you will see where they say to tie the shock sensor to a main harness point.
