anyone have this problem, 4v bolts

I looked at this 04 mach 1 with 37k, where the bolts are that hold the valve covers on it looks like oil leaks past them, do you think it sat around and the gaskets dried out, 37k is low but not that low, is this a common problem or a big deal? I think im going to buy it tomorow unless this is something to consider.

anyone? could you either torque them down more or remove one at a time and replace the gasket or what.

could be,
could be oil going into the spark plug hole and then coming up through the COP cover which would indicate that the gaskets for the spark plugs are worn and need to be replaced
could be oil leaking out of the PCV grommet

if this is your car or a buddies just buy the valve cover gasket set which includes all of the above, bolt gaskets, spark plug gaskets, and valve cover gaskets

Its pretty normal most 4v's I have worked on get a little wet around the bolts. I just wash it off its not going to hurt it.

take the COP cover off and look to see if there is any oil in there as the gasket sometimes goes on the 4v just make sure to check the car thoroughly before purchasing it, but im sure you know that

some got the fix and there should be a colored dot on the heads somewhere and some just live with it, but as far as I know it is normal for the 03-04 machs and termi's
