Most people will say around 500ish to the flywheel on the stock block. Somewhere in the range of 450 max to the wheels. But of course there are people out there making more than that and the block hasn't let go yet. And people making less that the block has. I'm at 417 hp on the stock block with around 3000 trouble free miles so far and two track days.

Btw, I love fox bodies. So I'd say it comes down to what kind of car you prefer and whether you think you're getting what the fox is worth.

Oh yeah, and MACH 1 FTMFW!

the WAP block is starting to push its limits with 600rwhp, the trans is rated around 400.

the 3650 has been able to hold more, but what i have seen they give no warning when they break. they also seem to be notchier shifting trans compared to the t45 or t5

The transmission will last a while. I'm at 84k miles in mine, just replaced the clutch and throw-out bearing. Still making noise, but shifting hasn't been affected. I have a good idea of what it is, and rather than waste time fixing it again I'm just going to replace the transmission. Not sure how much longer it'll last, and since it's my DD and my job is so far from my house I'd rather not find out the hard way. But with 25k on it, you probably have a good, solid 50k left before it starts giving you hell as long as you (or the previous driver) aren't rough on it all the time.

As far as how I like my Mach.... it's been a great car. I have driven it hard the entire time I've owned it.... bought it with 8 miles on it in 2004. I traded in a 2003 GT for it... owned that car for about 9 months, test drove the Mach and it was all over for the GT. Night and day difference. I will NEVER trade or sell this car. My girlfriend might buy one for herself as well. They really are good cars.

That sucks man. Just wait awhile. If the guy wants to get rid of the car bad enough, he will come down.
