Convince me to buy a Mach 1

so some guy might want my car and some cash for his 03 mach 1, 25k on the odometer and some boltons n junk, what can these cars put down with say a full exhaust n junk? i dont know shit about these cars, tranny good to what hp? junk like that... thanks guys

i have a '97 cobra and junk, and they're pretty fun and junk. if machs are like SN95 cobras at all, i'm sure they are fun and junk

the mach's are a damn nice car. my wife and i have tossed the idea around on buying one, and after she drove doc's she wants one even worse. my car has about all the bolt ons, doc's car would pull me with just a ported t/b, mid pipe, and tune. now with what is done, the car will just kill mine.

with those mods should be right around 300rwhp. i have just a midpipe and K&N FIPK and i made 290 to the wheels. machs are rare, fast, and one of the best looking stangs IMO. i ran a 8.29@83 in the 1/8th with just 4.10 gears, midpipe, K&N, shifter, clutch and some good tires, still only pulled a 1.84 60' and ran a 8.2 so i still have room to improve. strap on a blower and you can make over 420 with only 8-10 pounds of boost, or spray it and make power EASY. it will feel 100x better than a 93 as well trust me i would never get anything less than a mach now that i have one

holy dick my 1/8s are like 8.6s with a mild h/c/i and this mach already has 4.10s... dam. 03machme what rpm do you shift at? ive never rode in a 4v v8

ok another question, his car only has 25k miles and has a decent amount of mods like 4.10s, saleen wheels, shifter, i thiink the ad said coil overs? hes down to take my fox and 9500 bucks, good deal?

is it worth going from a GT to a mach, or to little of a difference just go for THE cobra? has anyone gone from there GT to a mach and its a very big difference? Ive test drove 3but never got a chance to really see what there made of.

depends on what your into. mach 1 are great but if you already have a GT & your just buying one for the power uprgade just put 4v heads on your GT. if your starting from scratch & dont mind the typical 2-4k+ extra a mach 1 will cost you over a GT then you cant go wrong getting one (but if your gonna go the extra money why not go a little more & get an 03-04 cobra?)

maybe i will take the mach out for a little drive and take some vid for ya. these motors will make great power just bolt ons, and if you go in them a little but, they will wake up a lot!!!
