I would buy a oneway ticket to Ohio with a cashier's check, go for a spin with the owner, then hand him the check and enjoy the drive back.
I live in Okla. and flew to Utah and bought a 03 sonic blue, sight unseen and drove it back. One month later I flew to Detroit and bought the 03 mineral gray sight unseen, and drove it back as well.
23k is still a really good price for the OC...like the Mineral Gray's there just isn't that manny around
