help with replacing drivers side view mirror


Does anyone know how to replace the side view mirror of the 2001 cobras? or know of any how to articles??? let me know please.. thanks

Pull door panel off and unhook the wiring then pull the side mirror out. I've never done it before but that's basically how I would start...

you have the mach system so
1)first pull off the tweeter grille,

2)then you will see a IIRC a 10mm bolt; remove this.

3)then you will be able to pull off the whole tweeter enclosure; unplug it

4)then there are 3 8mm(IIRC on the size) nuts; remove these 3, unplug then detach from door

Thanks fellas... i just checked back and i went out and forgot i had one of those "mustang repair" manuals that they have at auto zone so i looked in there and read it.. it's all good now.. thanks again!!!

hi i know this thread is long ago but i'd like to suggest some auto repair manuals that you can use anytime... it's pretty good because they have some videos and stuff to use to on how to repair your car,.,..
