Cobra Exhaust

What exhaust sounds best on the cobras? I want a nice deep muscle car tone. Their is an o/r x pipe on the car right now and im looking into getting a new cat-back. Ive heard that bassani, and magnaflow are a little raspy and im not a a huge fan of JBA or SLP. I already had flowmasters on my last mustang so i want to switch it up. I was think about getting either a mac cat-back or borla xr-1 racing mufflers. What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Mike

But IMO, the ProChamber is sex on the 4V's for a mid pipe. And that + a Mac catback is loud as hell and sounds very, very sexual

I have MAC longtubes, catted Magnaflow X and SLP LM1's. Has a nice deep tone and sounds more like a race car at high RPMs.

I don't want the car to be ridiculously loud tho. Is an o/x pipe and mac cat-back going to be too loud?

Give this a listen. I think you'll like it. Magnaflow Magnapacks are raspy. This is regular Magnaflow with an x. I have this coming with a Mac o/r H.

My car is loud as bloody blue hell with my setup:

Kooks LT's, Kooks O/R X, and Borla Stingers. It does have some cool and refreshing rasp to it.

I have to put the catted X back on before I get emissions testing done, so it'll quiet it down a little bit. But, I've been kicking around the idea of selling the O/R X and buying a prochamber. I listened to some prochamber clips on youtube over the weekend. They sound effing good.

ProChamber is pure sex w/ any catback (except LM1's) on a 4V.

Look into a ProChamber for a midpipe

Either the prochamber or h are going to give you that low deep roar you're looking for. What's wrong with your Bassani cat-back? It could just be the x you're not liking.
