Is this a good buy?

2003 FORD MUSTANG SVT 23k CoBrA ConVerTiBLe "SHOW CAR"

I saw it on autotrader as well. I know it's a show car though I want to make it my DD.

My budget can somewhat afford it, but it's a real nice cobra, I like it a lot.

Though the convertible status kills it, I'm not much of a convertible fan.

What do you guys think? Scam? Good buy? Go for it? Or nah buy a cobra for a lower price?

I'm a Mustang V6 owner and it kills me to drive a small pony.

Also the interior is very nice!

What do you guys think?

well i would think it is a little high yea it has low miles but that just seems a little high, but then again i could be wrong. Look for other cobras and stuff to compare it to. And if you are gettin rid of your v6 ill be lookin for one in a couple months

That's retarded. You can get a KB Cobra for around 22 right now.

That is a very nicely setup Cobra. Looks like some very well installed stuff. But that is a little pricey sounding to me, at least the way these cars are selling right now. Unless you want nitrous instead for some reason, I'd agree with acmillr. Look for a KB/Whipple Cobra.

There is no way I would pay $29K for ANY 03-04 Cobra. Even the TT cars are going for less than that if you look hard.

Pass bro. That car is a $24K car MAX.

Id pass. The seller doesnt know what hes talking about since all the "upgrades" he lists are standard cobra stuff. And at the end he says it has a turbocharged engine... Either way, is too expensive.

Thanks guys for the feedback. It is overpriced, and you have a point there. The dealer does seem to not have a clue what he's talking about.

I will look elsewhere. Though the car does look real kickass

There are lots of kick ass Stangs out there...way too much. Just TRY and finance that bad boy with book value. I think you'd have to come up with a chunk of change for a used car.

Yeah dealers are idiots man. I'd bet money they didn't give $17K for that car (cash or trade in value)

When it comes to used sports cars, my advice is to stay away from stealerships. I made that mistake on my 00 Z/28. I was young, wanted a sports car, and they where able to find financing for me. I ended up paying about $3K over what the car was worth.

If you really like the car you could walk in and offer them $20K and see what happens.
