I broke it again....
So I blew up the Auburn Diff over the weekend. I installed another set of 4.10s and the Detroit Locker again. Well I found a nice stretch of road today and figured I would test the suspension with the locker setup.
It felt great until I powershifted 4th gear and the wonderful "POP" noise was made. ![]() It looks like I wiped out the input shaft. I'll post pics tomorrow.

It was expected.
Now that the car has been owned by me for a while now I figured shit like this would start happening. All of the weak links are starting to fail. I have been thru it with many other mustangs.

This is my second input shaft. The last one I broke was in my 351W fox with a Tremec 3550. It also broke when I powershifted into 4th.

ok... heres my shifting...
don't think its too shabby. been told by a few people. and trapping 129 tells that its not either. lets compare some DA's and then we'll talk. a car back east will always kill a time ran out here. my other issue has been getting the track time, as both of my 11.0 runs involved me getting the boot for not having a cage. and both were the first runs of the day, without dialing in the tires. |
