Question regarding Cobra FPDM vs. Mach 1

I own a 2004 Mach 1. It recently recieved an '04 Cobra longblock. Since the longblock can handle more boost than a stock Mach 1 block, I am now running a 2.76 pulley with 63lb injectos and stock Cobra tank/pumps with a KB BAP. It was previously tuned using Sniper with a sniper 95mm MAF, but the shop tunes with SCT so I have switched to SCT now. Which means going with an SCT 2600 MAF instead for tuning reasons. Now the shop has mentioned that in the datalog something has come up with the FPDM not seeming to be functioning correctly. What I am curious about is whether or not the Mach 1 and 03-04 Cobra FPDMs are different? If they are, could this cause a problem? Any help would be apprectiated. I want to get this problem ironed out as quickly and easily as possible. The shop has a 2600 in stock to swap in, so I'll just sell the Sniper MAF, making things move along. But I don't have the full story on the FPDM yet. Just trying to get a jump in things.
THANKS!

I would bet that it has more to do with the bap than anything. I would just ditch that and get a stage 2 modified fpdm or dual fpdm setup from lethal

So are you saying that I wouldn't run a BAP, just the modified FPDM?

From Lethal's site: "and/or running '03/'04 SVT Cobra dual pumps with a pump voltage booster in your high-horsepower Mustang you NEED to have your FPDM modified."

So it sounds like for my setup, I should run the BAP and a modified FPDM?

I'm running a stage 2 modified fpdm, twin gt pumps, and a full lethal/fore fuel system (tophat, lines, and rails).........The most important thing is that you get with your tuner and work it out.

IMHO..........I would go with either a modified fpdm or dual setup. In your situation it seems as though getting a modified fpdm and trying that with your bap might be the easiest/fastest attempt to cure your problem.

my fpdm is the factory ford unit with a BAP. have had no issues in the well over 2 years this setup has been on my car. and i also have a sct2600 maf. but then again, the op knew that part. i am not too sure if a mach 1 and cobra fpdm are the same. if i were you i would pm wildbill on one of the other sites and ask him, i bet you he comes up with an answer very quickly.

Sounds good. Thanks! Should be hearing from him today.

Thanks T. I had wanted to see if anyone knew last night. I can find out here at work today.

Yeah. Way too expensive to ship the car out there to get tuned. Trust me, I'd have loved to. Having to swap stuff over to SCT is plenty expensive as well though.

They are the same and it is better to just go with dual FPDM's than run the upgraded ones, but that is just my opinion.
