Well you'll need a firewall adjuster with an aftermarket quadrant. The stock quadrant is self adjusting. I don't believe it's a problem with the firewall adjuster though.
So does the cable itself have an adjusting nut? or is it non-adjustable like a stock cable? |

+1 The stock quadrant is self-adjusting. You must have either a firewall adjuster or an adjustable cable to use a aftermarket solid quadrant. I've tested a ton of clutch cable/quadrant setups. The best setup I found hands down is what I am running now and that is a Ford OEM Non-Adjustable Cable (Your Stock Cable or Maximum Motorsports Cable), a Maximum Motorsports Single Hook Quadrant, and any firewall adjuster with a set screw or click lock mechanism.

the only thing is that the pedel is so light and the fork moves, i though they were heavy clutchs and made the pedal hard?

Mine definately takes more effort than a stock clutch.
My old stage 2 felt ridiculously heavy, but that's because it was a garbage set-up in there originally with the aftermarket stuff that it had when I bought the car. Once I changed over to a different quadrant, firewall adjuster and stock cable, the stage 3 felt easier than my stage 2 (pressure-wise). By adjusting the firewall piece, can you get it to engage at all? Either all the way out or in? |
