i had a pro 5.0 on my t-45 and i replaced it with a steeda tri-ax. not a HUGE difference, but it's definitely noticeable. the tri-ax is firmer but it's a little bit noisier. overall i like the tri-ax better, but i don't have any problems with the pro 5.0. my pro 5.0 is for sale in the classifieds section if you're interested

That's at least not the stock shift lever. The stocker has this big, obnoxious bushing, not the nice clean bolts we're seeing in that picture. The base doesn't look stock to me, either, but it doesn't look like my tri-ax. Maybe someone else will be able to chime in that recognizes it.

To remove that inner boot, I *think* it's 8mm - you pull the 4 bolts on the gold/bronze ring and you'll be able to see the base.

It doesn't look stock to me,just look in side by the rip on the boot that's on the middle picture, you should be able to tell if it's stock or not.

I bought my mach 1 with the MGW in it, do not know what the stock one feels like. I've never had any other brands in the mach, so I wouldn't know what other ones are good.

I can say that's DEFINITELY not an MGW, though.
