clutch compatibility question

will a clutch from a 96-98 cobra fit a 98GT? this guy says his clutch came from his "96-98 cobra and its a 10.4-inch, 10-spline clutch disc and pressure plate. (Stock size and stock spline number for 96 to 98 Cobras) I recently upgraded to an 11-inch 26-spline clutch when I replaced my T-45 transmission with a Tremec TKO 600."

is that a bunch of bs or is it true cause i thought they were all 10.5 inch discs.

will this clutch from the cobra fit my 98 GT?

clutch kits for a gt's were all 10.5 from 89-00. the 96-98 gt's were 10.5 as well. 99-04 cobras were 11in set ups. all these same mustangs were same 10 spline input shafts as well. if you were running a 10 spline set up, the clutch would interchange.
