03 Sonic Blue Roush Cobra in the works

Ya it's been a long time. I dropped the car off like 2 or 3 weeks ago and they didn't pre-fit the kit until like a week later. Then after that got the exhaust put on and then waited longer for the hood to show up (still waiting) and then another week. All in all it will be like a month w/o the terminator. So damn boring w/o it.

that stretch between highway 80 and the benician bridge on 680 is a decent place to mash on it w/o having to worry bout cops that much.

They do pulley install and tunes?? I was going to go to AED eventually to get it done but its quite a hike up to sacramento (2 hours for me). They got a place in san jose but the guy shawn is only there on mondays he said.

I NEVER get a chance to really get on it around here. Wouldn't want to REALLY get on it anyway since the freeways suck so much over here. Oh well.

That and the CHPs are dicks, really getting on it means 120+ and that's getting to impound speeds (twice the speed limit), and the last thing I want to do is get pulled over for "racing" and have them see that I have no cats on my car and give me a big fat ticket.

Still waiting on my hood. Should be here today between 9-1 @ the bodyshop. I just hope there is nothing wrong with it. If there is then I have to decline the shipment, call cervinis and have them send a new one. That's another week for shipping and then a weeks worth of work once it arrives. I'll officially go nuts if that happens.

Thanks. At least I've sold my front bumper (or should be). I got a guy comin to the body shop today to pick it up and he's gonna give the money to the shop guys. I also got a guy who's going to pick up my side skirts thursday. And possibly a guy to pick up my trunk lid friday. So at least I'm gettin money for my cobra parts in the mean time.

Front bumper sold, side skirts spoken for (picking up thursday), trunk lid being picked up friday.

New hood arrived today and fits great and clears the supercharger so all is a go. The instructions say to let the hood sit on the car in the sun for a few days so that it will settle. Then they will be able to paint it. I hope I'll be able to pick it up by wednesday of next week.
