I was told that the new hood arrived but it needed to settle on the car for like 4-5 days in the sun so that it shrinks before they paint it. So the estimated d-day is wednesday of next week. I hope that's when it will be done but i wouldn't be surprised to hear its not done til thursday or friday. Keepin my fingers crossed...

Okay, I didnt feel like reading the whole thread to find out so, are the OEM parts still for sale?

Im interested in all of them, but i want to know what your prices are on each seperately?

Front bumper?

Rear?

Skirts?

Rear still for sale, front is sold, side skirts have been claimed and are being picked up tomorrow. Still have the OEM stock hood and trunk lid w/ wing on it as well.

Here's a pic I got from the body shop w/ the new hood fitted on and the front bumper w/ 1 coat of paint on it.

That '67 in the back looks good also. My best bud in high school had a '67 fastback so I've got a real soft spot for those cars.

ive always thought the roush's were hidous, and everyone that I know that see's one thinks they look ricerish, but to each his own, hopefully it gets done soon, congrats that its going good thu

Hmm, I'd say the saleen looks ricey with side vents, and the various vents cut into their bumpers and sideskirts. The only thing that could be considered ricey on a roush is the wing but I think it flows with the rest of the kit well. The front isn't much different than the cobra except the size of the front openings and the cobra fogs have those bezels around them. But yes, to each his own

as far as i'm concerned, it its saleen or roush it does not fall into rice imo. i am not huge on the roush stuff, but done right it can look good. and if we all drove the same exact looking car this world would get kinda boring.

my only thing is going over board. and honestly do not feel that saleen or roush do.

They took my hood to get baked instead of waiting 5 days for it to shrink in the sun. They think they might get the hood back this afternoon and if that's the case will be able to shoot the hood tomorrow and finish the other coats on the kit. It's going to be done next week, I'm hoping for tuesday but wednesday sounds more likely. We'll see but I'll definitely let you guys know.

Talked to the guy @ the shop yesterday and the final coats were being put on today. Gonna call tomorrow and ask how it went and what the time frame is for it to cure. Hopefully I get the car back before the july 4th weekend!!
