03 Sonic Blue Roush Cobra in the works

I've been putting this together for a while now and it's almost complete.

Rear valences not on here

I'll be sure to post up pics once its painted and everything. I'm hoping to get it back by friday but realistically it won't be done til next week.

Also, I have all the 03 Cobra OEM parts originally on the car for sale if anyone is interested. I have the front bumper (without fogs, had to use em on my roush kit), side skirts, rear bumper with stainless steel COBRA letter inserts, trunklid w/ 03 cobra wing and brake light, and the heat extractor hood seen in the pictures above. I have a new heat extractor hood coming that is made for a GT so it will fill the gap between the roush kit and the stock cobra hood.

Bleh, the 03 cobra is a cool car, however I wanted a roush for the longest time but I also wanted the cobra power plant. I will have the best of both worlds now It's not like there aren't roush cobras out there, its just there's only like 6 or 7 03/04 cobras that Roush did their thing with.

hmmm. honestly not sure how that makes me feel. as the 03/04 cobra always has been one of the most sexy new edge stangs made imo, but to each thier own. interested to see it with paint though.

btw- sonic blue FTMFW.

I think it is going to look great man! I'm not a super, huge fan of the new rear spoiler, but I think it will all come together nicely. Can't wait to see it with the final paint. I do think you should swap that poney emblem on the front grill out for a snake though.

What motor mods?

Yes, Sonic Blue is the fastest color.

Ya the wing works with the kit. I love the 03 cobra wing but it just doesn't look right w/ the roush kit so I had to get the wing to go with it.

Right now I have a JLT CAI, Mac O/R H-pipe, Spintech 333SCS mufflers (for side pipes). I have a 2.76" BF upper pulley w/ 4-piece BF Idler set that needs to go on after the body work. I also want to get a dual pass heat exchanger as well. From there I'll have enough power to be happy for the time being, especially since there's not many places in CA to get on it and we have that shitty 91 octane gas.

I'm on the fence about the Cobra grille emblem. I like the way it looks but at the same time there's cobra emblems all over the car and I like keeping the one pony on there since it is a Mustang Cobra. I think when I get bored with the car that will be the next cheap, quick mod.

I think to each his own. I really like the 03-04 Roush. I think once you get it all together and get it painted it will look great. However do not put the pieces on and not get it painted right away, we all know what people do that.

LOL ya I know. The kit, rear bumper, and decklid all were in my garage for quite some time til I saved up the money to get it installed and painted. The pictures were taken of the car @ the bodyshop. It's being painted as we speak. I just drove it to the exhaust shop after they prefitted the kit so the side tips could be fitted up and then they could paint the kit after. Rather than putting on the kit painted and then going to the shop and possibly scratching the paint or something getting on the lift.

For the time being I am. I plan on getting some CCW's or maybe some AFS 18" 03 cobra replicas down the road. But I'm going to be kind of broke after this so I'll have to relax for a while.
