4V S/C - T/C that doesn't break the bank?


There has GOT to be a T/C or S/C out there for my car that dont cost 10 billion dollars, anyone please help me out, I just bought new headers and havent put them on yet so if I can find a system ill just send the headers back.

if you find something let me know i think that the cheapest boost is going to be an eaton swap. if going S/C then you can keep your headers while if you are going T/C then you will not need the headers.

Heck Yes! just found one for $3000, with 5000 miles on it, just emailed the guy, only thing im worried about is he wont have the install guide for it haha

Yep, probably the cheapest route is the Eaton swap. But you can find a used centri S/C in your price range and would most likely be an easier install I'd think.

Installed? or are you doing it yourself? You should call steve @ tousley ford. I heard you can pick up a brand new whipple 2.3 for roughly 3500 and its smog legal and won't void your warranty. You'd put down some serious power w/ a 2.3 as well. I personally want a kb 2.2 because that bitch screams but otherwise I'd get a whipple.

oh and look @ the market section of svtperformance. They have used eatons on there all the time (a lot of them are already like stage 3/4/5 ported and come with smaller upper pulleys). They also have used twin screws on there for pretty cheap.

He's not going to want one that has a smaller pulley or a big twin screw because his block won't hold the power. Well, I'm under the assumption that he's on the stock Mach 1 block.
