Boost = Burning Smell

Is it normal to smell a burning smell after boosting an 03 Cobra? Its not an overwelming smell I actually kinda like it...but am I smelling the engine or the blower...and is it hurting the motor? I havent changed the oil in the thing but I read it is guaranteed by SVT for the life of the car.

I have never had a burning smell after winding the s/c up. Have you looked for a possible leak anywhere under the hood? Check under the car and see if you ran over a plastic bag or something that stuck to your exhaust.

I smell burning from time to time, but that's just from lighting up the tires... Haha.

Are you running the stock PCV system still?

I'd suspect belt slip, clutch, or the brakes for when you need to stop!!
