Before I Buy Alot in Exhaust!

Does anyone know where i can find a MAC catted H-Pipe or if they are even made for my year Cobra? I have looked high and low and cant find anything. Ive come to the decision to buy a set of cats to weld on my BBK o/r Xpipe for inspection and buy a o/r H for afterwords...I like X pipes but H's are freakin mean sounding IMO

It's very hard to find a catted H pipe anywhere. Your best bet is the buy the H and then some high flow cats from summit racing and weld them in.

You can get weld in cats pretty cheap. That is the way to go.

i would look into buying some cats and then welding those on. call me crazy, but it's actually one of the better ways to go right now with the limited availability of catted h pipes.

not as rare as you think.

MAC doesn't make any catted products anymore so you can either search for used or like everyone said weld some in.

OP - I believe MRT (or something like that) was one of the last producers of a catted H pipe. As far as I know now; no one currently makes one.

one more stupid question i think i know the anwser to.. Will a 96-98 gt midpipe bolt up to the cobra. I believe it will because they are both 2.5 size pipes and the header flanges are the same to my knowlege. Just look for a second oppinion. AM only has good GT pipes

I know it's such a hassle removing those 8 bolts and putting them back on...
