allright my first real mod to my now 3th month old 01Cobra may be comin up soon

i have a fresh never opened set of FRPP 4:10 ring&pinion with shim kit
that i was gonna put in the 96 but blah blah blah and i still got it

now i got a buddy with a terminator and a buddy with a 351 91 and there both buggin the shit outta me to put the 4:10 in my cobra

yes i know it will wake this mofo up but i also was thinkin i have possibility to sell them and get a 3:73 set.

soooooooo please my 4v brethren. start ur opinions

i need to make a choice

4.10s here and 20+ highway mpg, id sell them and get either 4.30s or 4.56s

4.10's or GTFO. you will love them. i think that 3.73's are good for boosted applications but there are a number of termi owners on here that are running 4.10's or higher and love em.

4.30s, MGW orange handle, and a set of M/T dr's. You'll have a fun car that you drive anywhere then. If you want more do a full exhaust, CAI, have your tb and intake ported, throw a 100 shot, and have it tuned. You'll have a respectable mildly modded car.

I have 4:10's in my 96 cobra and I wish i would of went with 4.56's. 4:10's did not hurt my gas mileage or top end enough to even be noticeable. They did wake it up a little bit. But just wish i would of mad the leap for 4.56's.
