And come to find out The car I bought at 37,xxx miles had already had the flywheel resurfaced and you guessed it, it was already toast again......

So 310 for a new spec stage 3+ (You want the stock clutch Ford sells them for $450)

310 for a new spec alum flywheel (Ford wants 750 for an oem Flywheel btw

)

104 for an oem clutch cable (Bought from the stealership, After this I bought my own parts)

and about $700 in labor...

Grrrrrrr

But hey if I upgrade the halfshafts now I can launch worry free right?

$2000 warranty turns out to be worthless

cancel the warranty and use the refund to pay for labor......

once you mod it, the warranty is garbage, even if you purchase the warranty after the mod..... don't ever listen to a salesman/woman. the only warannty a modded car can ever collect on is the warranty the shop gives you when they mod the car, which is ussually 6 months to a year, and anywhere from 6-12k miles

The problem is The warranty did pay for the broken electric window motor ($440) so since the warranty was used once it cannot be refunded.

thats not true. my friend had a warranty on his 98 and used it 3 times and canceled it 2 years into the car cause he modded it. got almost a grand back
