stock terminator rwhp

how much rwhp was an 03/04 cobra said to have stock? I've heard stories about them having 400+, but i'm not ready to believe them until i hear what everyone has to say

i believe on Fordracing.com the SVT section specs them at 390

some say they have seen some make 400 to 420 to the wheels stock.

I say they run like shit at the track if they have 420 to the wheels then.

I also say those people are full of shit thu.

360-385 at the most to the wheels would be my guess.

From what I recall,in stock tune,it was 400-420 at the flywheel.

+1 There a few factory freaks putting closer to if not a little more than 400 to the wheels.

They avg about 366 on the dyno.

that's what I expected... 400 rwhp stock was just a lil too far-fetched for what i was thinking

i hope that was a joke......

but yea, the termies were actually underadvertised hp wise. in actualality they make about 420 crank, and 365ish to the wheels.

the owner of a local shop put down 380 on a 15k mile 6 year old termi....stock. some where just factory freaks.

They average 370 at the wheels, as stated above. There have been some factory freaks that push 390-400 stock.

But even 370 is impressive. If you understand that the Terminator 4v is rated at 390 bhp stock, and use the accepted 15% loss that is usually seen through the drivetrain, that means that it should lay down about 330 at the wheels... so obviously the Terminator engine is very underrated from the factory.

370 at the wheels means the engine is making roughly 430-440 hp at the flywheel.
