Shocks & Struts

On the way home today I noticed my front right tire feels quite "bouncy" which means its probably time for some suspension work. Feels like it bounces more than it should for smaller bumps and its been riding quite unstable since.

So what exactly needs to be done? I'm supposed to change these out in pairs or something right? I dont quite know what the best practice is there.

I want to get this fixed without breaking the bank, yet I dont want to skimp. Where is the compromise?

Mostly aggressive street driving in a sub 3000lbs ride. Fully stock suspension.

Pick up a set of Bilstein's from an 03/04 Cobra

They are a great buy and usually can get all 4 for around $175-$200

Do you mean used or the new set for an 03/04? Where can I pick these up?

The rears arent different with my solid are they?

Is there a huge difference between bilsteins, tokico, etc compared to cheaper ones from a local auto parts store? What is different... just ride quality, how long they last, handling performance?

Is it a big difference between adjustable or not? If I do plan to adjust them and zero in on my handling preference are they worth it? I know people say if you wont use them dont get them, but I could see myself playing with them.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Shit I forgot you don't have an IRS; but if I'm not mistaken they'll all still work. (someone else check that for me). As for differences between the common parts store and Bilstein, Tokico, etc. you'll see a BIG difference. It's like driving a Mercedes vs. a 91' Honda. (IMO)
