Need Track help or advice.

I when to the track Friday and my best time slip was

60 2.397
330 6.225
1/8 9.235
1/4 13.982
MPH 104.64

I have fairly good Nitto 555 315/35/17, not radials. i get really bad wheel hop and im launching at 2000 RPM, i scratch the tires every shift. my 60 ft is horrible, I know i can do better because, i race a 99 cobra from a 50 roll to 110 and got 2 cars on him consistently, and he gets a 13.3. the thing that doesn't make sense is we have all the same mods other than he has bbk longtube headers and a tune. i only have JLT intake, o/r x-pipe, straight through muffs. which he also has.

Wheel hop will hurt you. Do you know if anything is done to his suspension at all? Something he might not be telling you about?

not that i know of and hes a good friend of mine, but my diff bushing are pretty bad, every time shift i can here a thump in the rear end.

Poly bushings and a nice sticky tire will help alot!

better bushing, stickier tires with a softer sidewall will help a lot, and you might want to throw a brace on the diff to be on the safe side.
