Well, nothing wrong with the '98 crank either (I think the cranks are the same, actually... anyone else can confirm or deny?). I'd just swap in the forged rods and pistons from the Termie, and enjoy a shortblock that's every bit as strong, but considerably lighter.

Regarding the B-port heads, my understanding is that if you're getting boosty, you can't beat a ported set of 'em. They're not that great of an N/A head, though, as they have too little port velocity at low rpm, and therefore no low-end torque. I know mine drives like a 4-cylinder - the power doesn't come on til around 3500 rpm, and she complains if you try to accelerate AT ALL under 2k, but she'll pull all the way to the fuel cut-off at 7k.

I'm honestly not sure, I've never looked into it myself.

Regarding cams, I immediately dismissed the idea as soon as I saw the price for a set, hahaha.

Gears, Positive-displacement blower, or downshifting, hahaha.

exactly what I have been trying to say. I think that cams, if you are going N/A, that you would want are, IIRC, the intake side cams from a 98 and then whatever your current exhaust is.

mmff did a twin turbo kit on a semi stock 03 cobra with the blower 1188 at the back wheels, upgraded ignition and fuel system everything else stock

03/04 cobra shotblock is top notch, only thing better is the cobra guts in a teksid as its been said above me
