P0174 / P0171 Banks 1&2 lean
I have an '04 Mach 1 with an '04 Cobra longblock with 2.76 pulley, 63lb injectors, JLT high-boost intake, stock Cobra tank/pumps with a BAP.
The last week or so, the car keeps throwing these two codes. I have an AEM wideband in the car and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. I drive the car very gently most of the time and that hasn't changed either. The car was dyno-tuned a few months ago and I haven't had a problem. The car still runs just fine whether I clear the code or not. Just cuious if anyone has any insight as to why it might keep coming back like this? Thanks. |

Have you checked the x-pipe, manifolds for leaks? One of the bolts that connects my manifold to my midpipe came out and caused this code. But I could hear the leak pretty good. Just maybe something to check.

Try cleaning the MAF and also check what weems said.

Ok I'll take a look into both of those things. Thanks for the suggestions.

When I looked at the scanner, it said lean for both banks. But what do you mean "not o2 sensors"?

To me that sounds like it could be the Mass Air Flow sensor is dirty. That would set those codes, but as Weems mentioned, if you have an exhaust leak before the O2's, it could be it but that typically would set either of those codes not generally both.
