Anyway, if the VIN is saying Bullitt, you can pretty much say you have a Bullitt.
What do the side scoops look like?

This is a bullitt. Look at the side scoops on this car. And the gas tank.

This is a regular GT.

And this is the SVT Cobra. Creamy goodness. yummy. Kinda partial to this one lol.

So I picture whored. lol

Also look at the front bumper on the cars.

Your looking at mine when you look at the above white GT. Looks just like it except I have the 10.5" rims in back, the delete kit with a Cobra emblem and the SVT badge on the left rear. Already did some research in the Bullitt and mine doesn't have anything on it (other than the vin) that would make it a Bullitt.

Like I thought, it might have been a work in progress and somebody traded it or lost it to the repo man. I'm happy to have it even if it is JUST a plain ol' GT.

I'm wondering if the VIN naming it a Bullitt is just a way for the insurance companies to raise the rates on this car.......I'm 47 with a clean record and my insurance is 80.00 a month with a $25,000.00 medical....$500.00 deduct on collision and $0.0 deduct on comp. Thought that was pretty high for my old ars since my 07 Santa Fe with full coverage is only $60. and change and my 07 Softail Custom with full coverage is $47.00 a month. Might need to do some checking on cheaper insurance.

Anyway........car is clean, interior like new, body has only 2 dings and a couple scratches on the hood.......paid $7000.00 even. Runs great, drives great, sounds great........and I'm sure I can get my money back out of it if needed.

Thanks guys..............I'll be watching and picking up some info along the way.

It might have been repainted, etc... someone trying like hell to make a Bullitt look like a GT and confusing others with the SVT emblem.

Just pulled up the VIN again. It was a repo!! I sure hate it for the guy cuz the car is in pretty good shape and he had spent a few bucks on the wheels and exhaust. Looks like it was repo'd in Longwood Fl.

Still shows it as a 2001 BULLITT GT.........with Bullitt being first in line.

Confusing for sure.

You have a Bullitt. Has to be. Unless the VIN was changed on the car. I am interested to see the pics though. Exterior, Interior, and under hood.

That VIN came off the door jam amd it matches the dash VIN.
