clutch destroyed??????

went out in my 03 cobra yesterday. came up to a traffic light and a mazda speed 6 pulled up next to me.we both launched our cars. i got up to about 140 mph and then all of a sudden a really loud screaming noise was coming from underneath my car. anybody have input.

I had this very issue happen.

Loud clinking noise with metallic sound under the car flying down the road. Sounded like I had a centri supercharger.

Clutch disc had a good sized chunk bust off and the bent friction material was making the noise.

Dont run it or else you risk much more damage. Get it towed to get a clutch

140mph! lol, I didn't think a Mazda 6 could get anywhere near that speed. Take some pics of whatever broke!
