I feel ya on the money issue. If you weren't so damn far away I'd fill the holes in for you for free.

That looks like a great donor car for 1300. You should be able to swap a TON of parts to make your car alot better. good luck
![]() Oh and use those freakin taillights!!!!

you need to stick the stock tails from the cobra on your car i dont think it would look bad because your headlights are smoked and you put the black wing on it so just through them on there and see what they look like.

111007, not too bad for a car thats almost 14 years old, the car was well taken car of for its age
btw i put the black tail lights on and they looked really ricer so i pulled them off immediately we are running into a few issues with the engine, it use to just crank we never got it running but after removing some body parts now it doenst want to even crank. were putting anything electrical back on, hopefully it was just something with the anti theft system that got taken off on accident. still have no idea what it is, we have put everything back on and still no luck. we did cut the metal in the front to move the radiator back to get some room for the pulleys. maybe it just int interrupted a ground circuit. anyone got any ideas? Dude, nothing could look more ricer than the tails that are on that car now. Leave the black ones on. ![]() Keep plugging away, sounds like you are pretty enthusiastic about this project. Looks fun.

Ive done some research and i hear it can be caused by the anti theft. Trying to find out how to reset it. Does anybody know how to for a 96 mustang? and im leaving the black off for now, i pulled them appart and got the face off them. I have all the parts i want to get painted in a pile until im done and get some money to pay for the painting. I want to get the tail lights and bumper painted. Possibly thinking about the hood, side skirts, and spoiler too, maybe some interior parts so i can make the whole interior black.

I wouldn't run the Cobra driver's seat on the passenger side - the power controls are on the left side of the seat, so will be inaccessible.

im not going to. im gonna take the driver seat and put it on the driver side. ill take the power track off the driver side on my original car and put it on the passenger seat to make it dual power seats. ill put a little cut into the seat and install the switch for it. Its kinda confusing, but you will know what i mean when you see it.

We got the whole front clip cut off today. still workin on gettin the engine to start. the starter spins when battery is connected straight to the starter. we still think its the anti theft module anybody know how to reset it? heres some pics of the progress so far
![]() More pics of the interior more torn appart. ![]() The whole bent part of the frame cut off. ![]() The whole front clip cut off ![]() The engine cleaned off a little. While cutting the front clip off i found the build tag for the car. It was the 429th cobra made that year, it had the optional mach 460 stereo, spoiler, and black interior, with black paint. |

Been a few days since ive been working on the car, waiting for dad to get home from his business trip. He should be home on Wednesday night so Thursday back to work with the engine swap. Hopefully we get the car running this week and are able to pull the rear and suspension out and get it in the other car this weekend. Maybe we will get the cat back put on the other car also. More pics are coming soon.

If you take the black lights and smoke them they will be solid black and match your headlights, also take those wheels off and put the ones off the cobra on there!!! that is a major swap your doing, judging from the pics i wouldve cut the front clip where you did and just weld a new front clip onto the cobra as long as there is no suspension or k-member damage, would definately save you some time!
just my opinion.
