you are looking at needing fuel upgrades before long, but yes it can hold it.

what do you suggest for a fuel upgrade? i have the baffled termi tank and dual pump setup. do you think i should go with like dual svt pumps or just add something like a bap?

just add a BAP or go with twin supercar pumps. you will need a dual or modified fpdm(s) if you go with the supercar pumps. if you plan on pushing it hard, i would look into doing a fuel line upgrade as well. go with the -8an line.

what do i need to do to the fpdm? i already did the relay/8ga.power wire is that the 1 your talkin about? and ive read its better to run the bap off the fpdm so it can be controlled by the car? and what do i need to do to add a second fpdm? just get a second one with a second harness and use relays to run it off the other harness?

the power wire upgrade is good. to do a dual fpdm you will need another fpdm (obvious), the harness, relay, and put it together. you can buy the dual fpdm kit as well, places like lethal sell the full kit. you can get a modified fpdm from most places as well, they are just a direct replcement of the stocker and will run the pumps.

Hope this helps...

~Lefty

A) VACUUM ONLY line. this elbow connection has two lines coming out of it. one leads to the majority of the stuff on the driver side of the blower. the other goes towards the passenger side and connects to the stock vacuum lines which i showed in one of my pics above.
B) VACUUM AND BOOST line. this elbow connection has two lines leading out of it as well. one line leads over to the connection that goes to the fuel rail pressure sensor. the other line is described in part D
C) this connection goes into the boost-bypass(circled in blue). this connection is vacuum only. when under vacuum, this pulls this post up which opens the bypass valve inside the blower. as you increase and decrease vacuum, the post will fluxuate accordingly. this is exactly what you want for partial throttle driving. as soon as you hit 0 vac and go into boost, the post drops(which is its natural position by the way) which completely closes the valve. this is what you want.
D) this is the other line coming out of part B. this connection also connects to the boost-bypass(i also circled it on the lower portion for reference). the bypass has two connection points, the one described in part C, and this one. i did not use this one however. this line sees boost and vacuum. this connection works the opposite of the other one in part C. under higher amounts of boost, it pulls the pole up which in turn opens the bypass valve. this is not what you want. you want the valve to stay closed until you’re done racing/getting on it/impressing the ladies….i saw no benefit to running this and found that a lot of 03/04 guys can electronically eliminate this function so i left that connection open on the bypass(which does no harm by the way). i actually cut this line back to where it fist comes out of connection B and connected my boost/vac gauge to it. it was almost meant to be!
E) connects to the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor(frps). it sees vacuum AND boost. the little elbow connection at part B has two lines coming out of it. one i just described in part D, and the other goes to the frps.
F) these two connections are vacuum only. i grouped them together because they connect to the same thing. i don’t know what it’s called, but it’s right next to the boost bypass.
G) this is also a vacuum only connection. i don’t quite know what this does either(i think EGR stuff), but it’s located right between the thing in part F and the frps.
H) there is a line coming out of the bottom of the lower intake. it T’s after it comes out from under the lower intake. one line goes right into the back of the blower(it’s the biggest hose connection). the other is connected to the pcv valve coming out of the rear of the driver side valve cover.

Also, the bypass valve. 03 Cobras have a bunch of functions that we dont have. One of which has to do with the bypass valve as described above. This picture better illustrates what exactly is going on here and what you do and do not need.

A) this is the vacuum only connection that i mentioned above. this is the one that is used.
B) this is the connection that i did not use. i just left it open as is. it will not affect anything, trust me.
C) this is just showing the “pole” that i described above. this is what is pulled up or down accordingly which pulls open and closes the bypass valve in the blower itself

Below is a diagram of how the intercooler system works and how the plumbing works...

The two lines that are circled in red(one has two circles around it) are the ends that go to the fluid reservoir. The one coming out of the engine(the one circled twice) is fluid into the reservoir, and the other is fluid out. The dashed red line shows that everything to the left of it is actually in the fender well. The intersecting red line just shows a separation of two areas where there will be lines going in and out of the fender area.

A) these two lines actually only have about half inside the fender area, but was hard to draw the dashed line accordingly
B) this is the connection where the fluid flows out of the intercooler and back into the reservoir(that line is the one also circled in purple)
C) this connection point is where the fluid flows into the intercooler(the line circled in the corresponding color is the line that connects to that point, there is a small elbow between the two though that is not shown)
