Starter question

So with the install of my PITA long tube hearders rises a question, the pass. side header sits right on the starter, With all the heat the header is giving off, am I looking at a big problem down the road? I bought one of those heat shelds for the starter but due to lack of space it wouldnt fit on it....

the ceramic will help, but yes, it will eventually cook your starter. if you can, id try to wrap the part that touches it.
