Please Help!!!!
OK i need some help badly and quickly!!!
i have an 01' cobra that has a full termi swap i am looking at putting some real power to the ground so i think its time for an sra swap i have a friend who has a fresh 8.8 with moser 33 splines,new posi unit,welded ends all the goodies. We have struck a deal for a swap now this is where my problems start.......Its out of a 90' GT so i know its atleast 1.5" shorter width wich i actually like cuz i can run a 11.5" wide wheel now without a problem but i have a few questions..... 1-is there any difference in the fox body rearend other than the width difference of 1.5" 2-with it being a fox body what do we do about the rear springs? i know he has to use lowered irs coils to bring the rear down but can i use the fox body coils? or get new? 3- can i just get the swap u-joints so i dont have to replace the pinion shaft? 4-i have seen the article on the irs swap into the fox coupe but would a fox GT be the same as the coupe? 5-CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!! ![]() I have also posted this on SVTP,before someone tells me to go check there lol.
