I'm gonna say this one is the most likely for the amount of times it has been down on that GT. only out done by the amount of times the tranny has been pulled in haste.

Would it make the job a whole lot easier if the k member is out? I'm buying a Termi soon and looking at doing a tubular front end so I was gonna go ahead and buy headers and all at the same time and while I have the k member out I was gonna put the headers on.

If you don't have a tubular K, you will need to take it out to get to those evil passenger side top bolts. Take off the X/H pipe too.

by far the easiest way. you can get to all the bolts very easily with the k out and the motor lowered a little

Yeah that's what I figured. If I do the k ill for sure go that direction with all of it

What about shorty headers? Are they easier to install then lt's?

Shorties suck. I have JBAs. I figure they are worth 0hp compared to other with similar combos. They cracked at the seam and i needed to reweld them. They have leaked 2x now and replacing the gaskets sucks balls. I put on perceys gaskets, and stage 8 locking bolts. They might be a bit easier to install, but any header install sucks.
