there is a breaking point on some of it as well. you have to remember the cams have to be matched to the motor. that is a 2v, has to spin quiet a bit of rpm, and needs all the duration it can get. the lsa might be a little on the tight side, but it may need it for "his application" as well. there is a lot to setting up a cam, especially for hardcore applications.

the 2v heads dont flow very well, so geting it right for aggressive set ups is critical. if he is pouring on a large volume of boost, he has to efficiently get it out of ther at high rpms. turbo's like cams that favor the exhaust flow naturally, but its getting the cam to time it right so that it balances the intake side out as well.

The Ford GT cams are ok for a turbo car but more for a supercharged application. The best cam is a custom turbo cam that could actually gain you 65-100hp. Spend a little money you'll be happier in the long run. Also did you change out the valve springs?

depends on boost pressure and volume as well. he may not be pushing enough to utilize "cutom turbo cams". the gt cams will do very well with the turbo's.

the gt cams will be just fine. if you have the $$$ for different cams, then obviously go for a set of turbo grids (customs not a must).

Also the stock springs are actualy realy good. they will handle more than you think becaus you are not going to have a high high lift your dohc setup.
