97 cobra sc and 97 4.6 MARK VIII 32 VALVE


whats the difference block wise with the 1997 4.6 MARK VIII 32 VALVE and the 1997 SVT cobra

Blocks are the same (teskid), crank is forged in the cobra, cobra has different cams (at least, the intake cam is different), I think the lincoln head casting is slightly different, too.

Heads have a single very minor difference with the Lincoln heads having a small raised area between the valves that shrouds them.

COPS on the lincoln instead of coil packs

IMRCS are vacuum actuated on the lincoln

intake is different and garbage on the lincoln

Might be more but thats what I believe to be correct.

the lincoln crank os cast/cobra forged, pistons the same, head casting for both sides are the same, rods are different. and they use the same block. and the mark uses the 98 cobra style imrc's
